Europe’s largest Fintech conference - Money20/20 - once again landed in Amsterdam.

We took 65 individuals out of the conventional setting and shifted perspective by giving them a sneak peek into what we’re building with PHX.

The experience wouldn’t have been complete without our friend and artist Daniel Rozenberg (aka Dadara) joining us for an intimate fireside next to a petite church in Oudekerk a/d Amstel.

Dadara shared the reasoning behind some of his incredible artwork: money has evolved into a part of our nature and it’s hard to realize that for a large part of the history of humankind, we lived without money.

In parallel, science has evolved to give us the technological ability to view nature as an information processor, challenging the present man-made systems that are fundamental in our every day lives.

The common thread behind Dadara’s work is that he’s interlinking these challenging contemporary topics.

Flashback to 2016, where Dadara helped bring to life the concept of connecting the unconnected and the idea behind Angel Island, putting our vision into reality by guiding us through his interpretation of our mission. He gave us a map of the island.

Now we’re in 2019. We killed our darling Angel Island, and so came the end of this story and the beginning of a new chapter: PHX.
